Blood and Bone
The title appears suddenly on the screen on a
background made of blood and part of a tree which then the camera fades into
leaving the title attached to the tree. The credits appear on the film in a
yellow, urban font taking quarter sometimes even half of the screen. This is a
very dull and not effective way of titles, not saying much about the genre of
the film and do not make the film appear particularly interesting by the
credits. These types of credits are conventional for biographical films and
romantic comedies rather than action/thriller films. Thursday, 29 November 2012

Credits
Stolen
The credits and titles were very simple and the only
effect on them was a dissolve. The titles either appeared on moving images or
on black screen. The titles on black screen perhaps were building tension from
the start of the film. If the titles appeared on a moving image
then the image would be an establishing shot or a shot of buildings, roads not
characters. The credits state main actors (stars), producers and the title of
film.
Credits
Blitz
The credits in the film Blitz are very simple but
effective. The credits are very short and appear on screen for a short period
of time (2 seconds). The titles smudge on screen and this is effective as it
defines the film as very fast and aggressive also giving away its genre. The
titles appear on black background fading to different colors at edges. The
titles shake and have some kind of dust around it to make it look more
professional and interesting, giving the credits interesting look even though
they are on screen for a short period of time. The credits state main actors
(stars), producers and the title of film.
Credits
Taken 2
The credits in the film Taken 2 are much more fancy
and interesting than in 'Stolen'. In Taken 2 the credits are also on black
screen but then the screen transitions to a moving image. The credits are kept
on screen for a short amount of time not allowing the audience to fully read
them, only the title of the film appears slower than the rest of the credits.
The credit move in and out of the screen by shaking sideways and pixelating
like in old TV's. This gives an impression of a CCTV camera and straight away
give the genre of the film. The credits state main actors (stars), producers
and the title of film.
